Justin Timberlake to be cast in BSG the movie? WTFRAK?!?

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Bryan Singer, director of such films as X-Men, The Usual Suspects and Superman Returns, signed a deal with Universal Studios yesterday, Aug 13th, to direct and produce a movie on a “re-imagining” of the 1978 Battlestar Galactica series… [source]

Ummm…hasn’t that already been done? Talk about putting a feather on a chicken and calling it a peacock (to paraphrase another tumblr commenting on the incomparability of Megan Fox to Angelina Jolie)…

That he met with Timberlake for a possible role in the movie [per Just Jared] just leaves me rolling my eyes, unexcited, and without anticipation…

Seriously, Ron Moore and Glen Larson should just get everyone back together for a feature film…
